Lets Stop Terrorism.

Contrary to what many people believe that we can not stop terrorism, i believe that yes , we can. We can stop not only terrorism but also corruption, poverty, inequality, inefficiency and all such maladies in one shot.

But this one shot would take a lot of effort from our part. We have to be true to ourselves in making these worthy efforts. Here is my panacea unfolded.

Look into the deepest ally of above maladies and what you will find is lack of wisdom. Poverty, inequality, illiteracy and all other much touted reasons are not cause but they are effects of lacking wisdom. Wisdom does not mean any high flying degree or knowledge, it is thinking and acting in a way to ensure your long term prosperity. Now some may argue here that in this way Dawood has much wisdom because by acting cruelly in short term he has ensured his long term prosperity. But do you think him as a prosperous person who is hiding at some place, fearful to come out and get killed by government or by rival gangs. It is not prosperity.

For long term prosperity, we have to make sacrifices in short term. One may have to cancel his journey because of not getting reservation instead of going after giving bribe to railway TC, if he is a believer of no corruption. By doing so, he is lending help to the legitimacy of the system. The reciever in this process will be an unknown face but may be that you also in some time get benefitted without your knowledge.

We all thrive on the positive contributions made by people who did not know us. Have you ever wondered that who has invented telephony ? or who made TV, vehicles, cement, gas exploration, internet etc etc possible ? These are the fruits which we relish but lended by worthy efforts of some strangers ? Similarly the fruits of the trees planted by you will be relished by some body else. It is a virtous cycle.

Those who do not feel any need for them to make their contribution in this virtuous cycle actually are the people responsible for the maladies. I understand that not everybody can be a scientist or capable of adding something anew to the system but there are other intangible ways in which they can contribute. The most important of these is to help in maintaining a congenial environment. Atleast maintain an environment where everybody can contribute to his maximum ability and those who are shying away from their responsiblity are brought to books.

I am giving a list of what is expected from us to be prosperous as a whole:

1. Get and give good education with proper emphasis on moral values.
2. Give your best to the job you are doing. (not for criminals)
2. Go and vote for the best candidate irrespective of caste, class, religion & party.
3. Do not pay any bribe anywhere.
4. Complain against those who are taking bribe or who are inefficient or who are
stealing (not only general theft but tax evasion, electricity theft etc also)
5. Always complain about any wrong doing anywhere.
6. Help other people in their right acts to the maximum possible.
7. Be compassionate to others.

Just imagine a society, where police is doing its duties efficiently, politicians are thinking of the welfare of the people, students are getting good education, those in jobs are satisfied and working with their highest efficiency (imagine getting a tax refund in 1 day), businessmen busy in delivering the best service at the best prices etc etc. It would be a place like heaven and yes it is possible to create such place. Just you have to change a bit.
